Let's Talk About CBD
If you’re not familiar with what CBD is, don’t worry! We’ll give you the rundown! CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound that comes from hemp plants. It is a naturally occurring substance that imparts a feeling of relaxation and calmness. CBD users have reported many benefits, but some of the biggest reasons people are wanting CBD products more and more is because it’s said to be extremely helpful with pain relief, with reducing anxiety & stress, it’s even used as a sleep aid!
Although Delta-9 THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is born from the same plant species, CBD does not have any of the psychoactive effects. In other words, our hemp-based CBD doesn't get you high when you ingest it! Cannabis plants are known for their two main compounds: THC & CBD. The more commonly known compound Delta-9 THC is responsible for the psychoactive effects, otherwise known as the “high.” Products that are purely CBD will not give you a mind altering feeling, just an overall improved state of well-being. You can take it at any time night or day-- cool, right!?
If you still feel a little unsure, let’s dig a little deeper. If you’ve begun to look into CBD products to try, you may be familiar with the terms “full spectrum” and “isolate”. Here’s the difference. Within the cannabis plant, there are various different compounds known as “cannabinoids”. Among this array of cannabinoids is CBD. So, when a CBD product is labeled as “full spectrum”, it means that the extract contains all of the compounds naturally occurring in the plant such as cannabinoids, terpenes, and herbaceous flavored oils.
Commonly known benefits of CBD
Pain Relief
CBD product users have claimed that this substance helps with alleviating chronic as well as temporary aches & pains. One use that many find is for arthritis.
Anti-Anxiety
People who tend to experience anxiety have said that CBD consumption has helped with relieving the symptoms associated with anxiety & stress.
Get Sleep
Although our CBD products do not contain any melatonin-type substances, users of purely CBD products have said that it helps relax them & settle their mind before going to bed.
What Do We Know About CBN?
CBN (Cannabinol) is a compound that is found in hemp and marijuana plants that is unique to the plant. Since our CBN is derived from hemp plants, it does not produce any psychoactive effects.
CBN has a specific relationship with hemp because, unlike other molecules, CBN doesn't come directly from the hemp plant. Instead, it forms from the exterior oxidation of THC molecules. In other words, the minute amounts of THC found in hemp plants converts into CBN during its degradation.
So far, cannabinol is known as the most sedative known cannabinoid, which makes it great for use as a sleep aid!
Commonly known benefits of CBN
Sleep-Aid
CBN may promote sleep indirectly through reducing psychological arousal (caused by sources of stress, pain, etc.) at bedtime. This is a very important factor in getting to sleep.
Apetite Stimulant
This is one area in which CBN behaves very differently from CBD. While CBD has appetite-suppressing effects, CBN appears to stimulate the appetite. Since some avoid THC (another well-known appetite stimulant) due to its intoxicating effects, CBN could potentially offer an alternative for those seeking the munchies without the high.
Anti-Inflammatory
Like CBD, CBN appears to have anti-inflammatory capabilities. Currently, scientists have been working to better understand how the human endocannabinoid system affects the immune system. CBN in particular is being examined for their possible therapeutic role in treating inflammatory disease.
What in the World is CBG?
Nicknamed the "Mother of All Cannabinoids, CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in cannabis. CBG has many potential therapeutic benefits, influding antibacterial, antimicrobial, & anti-inflammatory qualities. CBG sourced from hemp plants contains less than 0.3% THC.
Interest in CBG is on the rise due to its non-psychoactive properties and pharmalogical potential. Like CBD, CBG has been used to combat pain without having the intoxicating effect of cannabinoids like THC.
Commonly Known Benefits of CBG
Mood Enhancer
CBG has anti-anxiety, stress-reducing, and antidepressant qualities similar to those of CBD. This is comparable to some of the benefits of CBD, butcannabigerol modulates emotion and emotional memory processing. The chemical also works to prevent an increase in serotonin levels, which can assist with sadness.
Anti-Bacterial
CBG has many putative benefits ranging from anti-inflammatory action to pain relieve but the potential antibiotic resistance has been elusive. Recently it was shown in a peer-review publication that CBG has impressively strong antibacterial activities against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) (Farha et al., 2020).
Anti-Inflammatory
In a recent study done by NIH.gov , CBG formulated appropriately exhibit anti-inflammatory activity. Our observations suggest that these non-psychoactive cannabinoids may have beneficial effects in treating diseases characterised by airway inflammation.
Hemp-Derived Delta-9
Unlike its counterpart derived from marijuana, hemp-derived Delta-9 THC is synthesized from industrial hemp plants that contain low levels of THC. Hemp-derived Delta-9 THC is commonly used to produce CBD products to enhance their therapeutic effects or provide recreational experiences with a milder intensity than marijuana derived THC.
It has gained popularity for its potential to induce relaxation, alleviate stress, and promote overall well-being while remaining within the legal limits of THC content.

Induce Relaxation
Delta 9 primarily interacts with the CB1 receptor, thereby altering your mental state. Through this interaction, delta 9 is able to support relaxation, induce drowsiness, and render other benefits that may help you sleep better.
Does hemp delta-9 get you high?
The short answer is yes! -
Hemp-derived Delta-9 THC which is the psychoactive compound responsible for the “high” associated with marijuana. However, it’s important to note that even hemp-derived Delta-9 THC can still have some psychoactive effects, albeit milder compared to marijuana-derived THC.
The exact impact and intensity of the “high” can vary depending on the individual’s sensitivity,
the dosage consumed, and the specific product.
